Exquisite and large terrracotta doll figure from the Nazca culture of southern Peru, dating between 200- 400 A.D., This ancient ceramic figure has his flesh done in a tan colour, nails, eyes, and hair in black. The lips, and portion of the geometric design on his torso done in red. Two peg holes (one on each side) are also found on the doll. What sets this example aside is the size; measures 10 ½ inches high! It is intact save for some surface ware in the area of the toes. Ex-private Canadian Collection. This is a Museum piece and for the advanced collector.
