Large two-tone Colima redware dog having a rear tail spout, pointy snout and perked ears. Has incised mouth and eyes, black painted mask over the eyes. Plump belly decorated with a large red circular spot on both sides of the stomach. Scattered mineral deposits and root marks. Has a minor stable hairline on right side of neck, otherwise intact. Overall in excellent condition. An extremely nice example! Dates to circa 100 BC to 250 AD. Measures 14.75 inches x 10 inches high.
