Pottery oil vessel with slender body standing on a pedestal foot. Sharply angled shoulder with painted ray pattern and thin neck, small handle and flared rim. Red-figure painted scene of a athlete holding a strigil. Minor surface flakes and imperfections, mostly on the reverse, otherwise intact. Circa 5th century BC. Measures 7 inches in height.
