Ancient Greek Sicilian askos. Dates to circa the 5th Century BC. In the form of a Bull which represents a central theme in many civilizations ( Mesopotamian, Egyptian, Anatolian, Crete, Persian, Cypriot and Athenian) being a major religious object . Measures 9inches in length. Has some wear to the surface and restoration to the head.
