Stunning stirrup-spouted vessel, depicting the head of a male deity. Has bold facial features. painted cream ground with red-brown highlights. Incised horizontal work on the back (acting as hair) and a chevron pattern on the top of the head. Some mineral deposits on the surface, however in excellent condition said for a small hairline underneath the handle at the back portion of the head (barely visible). A very rare and interesting piece. Measures 5 ¼ inches tall
