A very large pair of matching gold crescent form ornaments, having tapered nipple ends. Most likely a matching pair of earrings but could possibly be nose rings. Some rose color showing through the gold surface, with interior encrustation. One earring has a 1/4” hole in the upper side edge with two tiny pieces reattached around the hole and some surface wear. The other example has a piece missing from one side of the upper tip. These ancient Tairona gold earrings measure 4” in width and weigh 34 gms ! From circa 800 to1425 A.D. and are from Colombia.
